Nathan,

Yes, you will need to write a native method for this.  P6 is divided in 
to address lines and chip enables.  You can use the chip enables CE4-CE7 
as general purpose I/O if you program P6CNT.0-2 to 0.  See DS80C400 User 
Guide for more information.
