Fred, Is the applet being served from the same web root as the webpage requesting it? Sandbox restrictions prevent cross loading of applets. If in doubt, call the sender before opening. **************************************************************** Hi all, I have tested the timeserver application (in C) and it works OK. My problem is that I am trying to serve an applet from the web server in C. For some reason, I can't get it to work. The webpage load but the applet says 'Applet notinited'. When I open the webpage in its local folder, the applet loads fine. I have monitored the network using a network tool, and can see the applet being sent from the TINI to the host. My feeling is, that the .class file is being sent as an ascii file (either from the TFTP server to the TINI or from the TINI to the host computer, or both). And this is causing the problem. Any commernts about this? If I can't get it to work. I believe I can convert the .class file (or .jar file) into a hex file and flash it onto the board. Then write some 8051 code to execute this image. But I do not know how to write the code to do this. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
