Dear Jinq - You could use the AAG Electronica's 1-Wire LCD display
interfaced to TINI's 1-Wire I/O.  Ref:  http://www.aagelectronica.com/aag/

TAI8590 1-Wire Text User Interface

I have one and it works very nice; and includes provisions for switch
closure detection.  It uses the DS2408 1-Wire 8-bit PIO.  So, you don't need
ANY parallel I/O bits at all!

"Based on the Dallas Semiconductor DS2408 the TAI8590 1-Wire Text User
Interface allow you to connect a LCD Character display to your 1-Wire
network and recieve messages from the host system. Also included in the
module is the capability to connect push buttons to allow you to interact
with the host program on your system. This module is fully compatible with
the rest of  TAI 1-Wire devices. Software to test the module and Java

Thanks. I want to connect an LCD to the DSTINIs400
socket, but as you said, there's only a few IO port
pins available. I see there are 32 user parallel IO
pins available. How to use these user PIOs to access
the data/address/control BUS?
