I am trying to track down a problem I have with the
P1.1/t2ex pin. And was woundering if anyone had had
any similar problems or any idea what could be
causeing the problem.

I am using the P1.1/T2EX pin for monitoring an rs232
control signal.

If I monitor p1.1 It properly folows the statis of the
p1.1 pin. p1.1 pin has a high input on it, the p1.1
port reads 1, p1.1 pin has a low on it p1.1 reads low.
If however I rapidly change the state back and forth
the tine crashes.

I have checked the T2CON register and it is set to
0x34 so the EXEN2 = 0 therefore I would not expect the
P1.1 pin to cause anything to happen.

Has anyone else had any similar experiences, or have
any advice on this
