Alas, I think that part number is for "Tech America" which can be ordered
thru your local R.S. Well, use to be able to... dunno about present day.

Nope. That 2.0A is the maximum that supply will put out. Remember
that only the current drawn by the device will actually come out of
the power supply (given there's no shorts! :-) unless it exceeds the
maximum the power supply can supply. If your circuit drawns only 10mA
at 5V then that's all that comes out of the 2A supply.
