I see no relevant differences, with respect to the erase and programming
sequences, between the Am29LV081B (flash on TINIm400, see
http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_type/white_papers_and_tech_docs/21525.pdf
) and the Am29LV040B (see
http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_type/white_papers_and_tech_docs/21354e.pdf),
other than the number of available sectors. Are you sure your decode
logic maps your flash base address to bank 40 (address 0x400000)?.

The boot loader for some reason will not program the flash ( I get a 'could not Zap bank 40' error) although the DS80C400 supplemental datasheet says that it can program virtually any AMD flash. Will I have to write my own loader utility? And if so how do I go about loading it into and executing from SRAM? Thanks.
