Hi, I'm new to TINI and Java. I have a TINI m400 and a TINIs400 evaluation board running TINI SDK 1.12. I managed to get the hardware and software monitoring a bunch of DS18B20 temperature sensors, logging the results. I'm at the cut & paste level of Java, mostly modifying examples provided on the Maxim/Dallas website. The system is behind a hardware firewall connected via cable modem to an ISP that 1) takes a dim view of customers running servers and 2) provides a dynamic IP address. As pointed out in the "How to connect TINI servers to the Internet" reference, pushing data to the internet would be appropriate. I presume the push would be FTPing or emailing data. I have done both manually, but I've been unable to do so under program control. Is there a better way besides ftp or email? Are there any examples of FTPing from within a Java program running under Slush that someone could point me to? I've searched the list archives, and tried other internet searches, but I haven't come across an appropriate resource. Grateful for any help, Paul _______________________________________________ TINI mailing list TINI-6tN4nzCoH/[email protected] To UNSUBSCRIBE, edit your profile, or see list archives: http://lists.dalsemi.com/mailman/listinfo/tini
