We've got our own module and carrier to do this as well,
we do it by multiplexing the memory bus with a CPLD.
Altera CPLD's can run you just a couple bucks and are more than adequate for
the task.
Schematics and Java classes for it come on a CD with the board.

We designed an interface board to do this, schematics are online:
http://www.systronix.com/expansion/sbx2/sbx2.htm

Also there is some example code there and a Java class for all the SBX2
I/O. Note that any TINI binary files will probably need to be rebuilt for
the current TINI OS.
