Hi, I have simple problem which I hope someone has the answer to here. I have a PIC talking to the TINI 400 board (Note that the serial data sent is valid and checked via the Hyperterminal on a PC) The problem I'm having is that the TINI is reading in NULL characters and I am unaware how to remove them from my program. There is no handshake and its connected via the usual 3 wire method to a MAX232a chip leading to the PIC. I have reduced the Buffer size (which helps) and am using the standard tini example SimpleReadWrite.java modified for my project. Baud rate is 9600 with parity set to even (have tried without parity). Can anyone help tell me how to get rid of the null characters?
