Dear Kelly, Thanks for the links, but it is what the TINI does 'before' my code starts that I was wondering about. Is it normal for a TINI to take 90 seconds to boot up before being ready to run code? (i.e. just starting slush and all the normal servers). Thanks, Andy Page. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kelly Smith" <[email protected]> To: "Andrew Page" <andymark.page-XZoyATsUNX5Wk0Htik3J/[email protected]>; <tini-6tN4nzCoH/[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, April 25, 2004 11:48 AM Subject: RE: [TINI]Boot up speed > Dear Andrew - Let me suggest that you optimize your code, by reviewing these > links (posted by Shawn Silverman (of Tynamo TINI Web-Server fame)); > > http://tynamo.qindesign.com/docs/tini/tips.html > > http://www.precisejava.com/javaperf/j2ee/Servlets.htm > > http://www.javaperformancetuning.com/tips/j2ee_srvlt.shtml > > You might consider posting your TINI application code, to see if anyone has > any ideas where it might be better "tweaked" for performance. > > This is from Borland (for Java optmization, which ties in to their JBuilder > product): > > http://www.borland.com/optimizeit/index.html > > Best regards, Kelly Smith > > -----Original Message----- > From: tini-admin-6tN4nzCoH/[email protected] [mailto:tini-admin-6tN4nzCoH/[email protected]]On Behalf Of > Andrew Page > Sent: Saturday, April 24, 2004 12:42 PM > To: tini-6tN4nzCoH/[email protected] > Subject: [TINI]Boot up speed > > > Hi all, > > > > I have written a small java program (about 20k) for a TSTIK72NB (behaves > like a TINIm400).
