Serial Timing

Dear all, I'm trying to send some voice data out from serial4. The voice data must be out for every 125 ns (8000Hz). But when I use normal method (i.e. OutputStream.write) The output is out continueusly. I couldn't control the serial out timing even though I call write() every 125 ns. It is appear to send data each 50Hz. Is it possible to controll that. Because I don't have any buffer at receiver.
