RE: TINI & MC35 PPPClient

Hi Tim,

I'm afraid the source code I'm using is part of a commercial product now at
our company and I'm not really allowed to send you copies of it.  The
PPPClient should work fine with only a few simple modifications out of the
box - like changing the modem commands to dial GPRS.

My advice to you would be to order a GPRS modem that has the full PPP/TCP/IP
stack built into it so you don't have to bugger around with this.  It took
my around 4 months of tinkering before I got something vaguely reliable
working.  Also you'll save a load of room in your application as you won't
have to include the PPP libraries.

We're now using a Wavecom modem (http://www.wavecom.com/) - it's a similar
price to the MC35.  We're actually migrating to the Orange M2M Connect
platform that is everything we need for M2M communication out of the box.

	I hope you don't mind me contacting you directly. I have been
reading your posts on the TINI mail list from about 12 months ago. I am also
trying to connect the TINI to an MC35 using the supplied PPPClient. I am
using the latest SDK 1.12 (which has the changes to the library as you
described). 

        I am having trouble getting the connection to work & I wanted to
know if you had the source code lying around for your old project. If so I
would really appreciate a look so I can move forward with my project.
