I have no idea what Christian Lorenz used to test the stack on the  
TINI.  The CF (or PCMCIA) cards that he lists on his site register  
themselves as serial ports and the stack is based on javacomm.   There  
are BT adapters with a DB9 which should work.

The serial interface is presumably the rate limit, but this should be  
sufficient for the origial poster (certainly as fast or faster than  
IRDA).  My interest was in RFCOMM which is not supported, so I didn't  
get that far into the stack.

So you get to choose the emasculated version starting at about $50,  
($150+ for a module with a DB9).  If you want more performance I would  
guess that the cost is more, and the stack will not support it.  IMHO  
if you want more performance then it's probably time to ditch BT and go  
for something real like wireless ethernet.
