RE: Need help on m68k-elf-gdb for GCC 4.1.1

Code Sourcery (http://www.codesourcery.com) has a free lite toolchain
available based on gcc 4.x. It has gdb, and I think that it does have
P&E support. Search for the getting started pdf file in the archive.

I haven't tried their gdb, but I do know their toolchain works well for
the 523x architecture.

Great, got it build and it seems working through Ethernet, anyone has
experience with P&E's USB BDM under Linux with the gdb 6.3? And how do I
build all the relevant pieces?

Thanks,

Ken

Hi,

you can use gcc-3.4 in connection with bdmtools-1.4 and gdb-6.3. I
recently compiled m68k-bdm-gdb with these packages and it works on my
uClinux-2.6.19. GCC-4.1.1 made problems on my systems.

Hope this helps,
Markus
