Hi Mark, I have some code to play with the flash registers to enable and disable security. The project is a CodeWarrior project. I did it on the MCF5213 a year or so ago so it isn't fresh in my head but I think in order to have to MCU to work in the new configuration you have to reset the device as during reset the core reads those Flash registers to determine the mode of operation (i.e. core is not continuously sampling those register and the mode of operation is determined only at reset). I'm on the road currently and will dust off the project to validate it is still working and try to post it here and on the FSL Forum by end of week. Hi All I have a problem trying to unlock secured FLASH in a M5223X. It is probably the same technique for all Coldfire devices so I am wondering whether there is a Guru in the list who can give some advice?
