I expect that the project is missing the correct library. If you are
using Codewarrior you can add the library to the project. There is a
Freescale document called something like “CodeWarrior Development Studio
Coldfire Arechitectures Edition – Build Tools Reference” which can be
found on the Freescale web site which has all details about the
libraries.

I am using the MCF52211 for usb. The sample code for Host bys CMX is
executing correctly. I want to use the standard stdio.h functions like
sprintf , string routines form string.h. But when I uses this I get
linker error as undefined sprintf etc. How I can able to use the same
