Hi Swaroop.

All ColdFire's have a BDM (Background Debug Module) interface for
debugging. So true emulators are not supported.

Lots of vendors have standard run control capabilities:

-         P&E Microsystems USBMultilink
http://www.pemicro.com/products/product_processor.cfm
<http://www.pemicro.com/products/product_processor.cfm>  (and other
hardware)

-         Freescale USBTap
http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=USBTAP

-         Axiom http://www.axman.com/?q=node/303
<http://www.axman.com/?q=node/303>

-         Green Hills Software http://www.ghs.com/products/probe.html

Advanced run control and instruction trace:

-         Green Hills Software
http://www.ghs.com/products/supertraceprobe.html

Some others have it too but I've listed the most popular from my vantage
point.
