Hi Jon,
Thank you very much. Now I can download the codes into the internal flash. I used the board developed myself. It has no external sram or flash. But I found I couldn't boot the code when I reset the board without BDM cable. Does the bootcode and the code generated by matlab can execute in normal mode(I mean it isn't in debug mode.)
Thanks.

Hi Ning,

The Embedded Target for Motorola MPC555 supports the following memory
models:

i) External RAM (text & data) + internal RAM (stack)
ii) Internal flash (text) + internal RAM (data, stack)
iii) External flash (text) + internal RAM (data, stack): requires
some
manual configuration!

To target only internal RAM (text, data & stack) would require manual
modification of the Embedded Target and would not be supported by the
MathWorks. You may also find that you would run out of memory
quickly
depending on the size of your models.

I would recommend that you choose the internal flash memory model
(see
the "Target memory model" setting in the model's MPC555 Real-Time
Workshop settings in the Configuration Parameters).

Alternatively, do you have any other evaluation boards available that
have external RAM?

Also, what eval board are you currently using?

Thanks,

Jon.
