If this is a dumb question I apologize. Has tpua been assign to the base address of the TPU? I'm having a little problem getting the TPU up and running using the data structures defined in mpc555.h. I'm currently using a Phytec dev board w/ mpc555 and Codewarrior IDE. As I run my program in debug mode (step by step), I notice that none of the lines of code that assign values to the tpu registers actually change those values (starting at 0x30400 for tpua). They all retain their original value of 0xFFFF. Ex. tpua->TPUMCR.R = 0x6020; doesn't do anything; the value in this register following execution of this line of code is still 0xFFFF. My program is pretty simple, just programming one of the TPU channels for PWM and initializing. Does anyone know why this might be happening?
