All,
I am trying to work with the PMM/PMA function(s) and have a simple
question regarding the location of the ERROR/TCR2_VALUE parameter word.
Referencing the Programming Note (TPUPN15B/D - for PMM), figure 3 (on
page 5) shows some space between the PERIOD_LOW_WORD and the next
parameter word (ERROR/TRC2_VALUE). In the left margin there is also
some "strangeness" with the symbolic addresses.
The first group of parameters are shown to be at a "sequential" (and
apparently contiguious) series of symbolic addresses. As follows...
$YFFFW0 REF_TIME | CHANNEL_CONTROL
$YFFFW2 MAX_MISSING | NUM_OF_TEETH
$YFFFW4 BANK_SIGNAL | ROLLOVER_COUNT
$YFFFW6 RATIO | TCR2_MAX_VALUE
$YFFFW8 PERIOD_HIGH_WORD
$YFFFWA PERIOD_LOW_WORD
$YFFFFC ERROR | TCR2_VALUE
Note the switch from $YFFFWx to $YFFFFC.
Is this a typo? Should that address for ERROR/TCR2_VALUE read $YFFFWC
(this is where I would expect it to be)?
The reason that I ask, is that I am running the function and don't see
TCR2_VALUE changing (or ERROR for that matter).
Sorry for the lengthy explanation, but I wanted to be clear about the
point of confusion.
Thanks very kindly in advance to anyone that can confirm the location
of ERROR/TCR2_VALUE.
-Paul
