Generating an external interrupt

Hi there,

I'd like to use the MPC 565 USIU external interrupt 5 pin to generate an 
interrupt.
The SGPIO control register bit for this input is 0. (configured as input)
The SIMASK2 register bit is also 1 and the edge level bit is also 1 for 
edge triggered.
Nevertheless I get no interrupt.
Is there someone who has a little clue for this problem ?
