the MPC565 supports the standard 0 to 5 volt reference and it also supports the use of an Alternate Reference. whether to use the primary or alternate reference is used is controlled in the QADC command queue command word. So you could convert a single channel with the 5volt reference and then again with the alternate reference by putting 2 separate requests into the command queue, one with full reference used and the other selecting the ALTREF. the alternate reference supports a reference voltage between 1.0 and 3.75 volts. randy -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of vijayanandl Hello I have a question regarding the QADC in MPC565. We were considering using the processor for a new project. But found that in other processors (say from Infineon) you can configure the range of analog input value. So instead of the standard 0-5V it is possible to configure it as 0-100mv so that there is minimal loss of resolution. Our application demands programmable ADC ranges that is from 0-100mv, 1- 1.5V etc. Is it possible to configure individual ADC channels to process at different analog input voltage ranges in the MPC565?
