Rookie needs help on MPC555 PMM

Hello all!
    I'm new to mpc555.
    Here is my understanding of TPU3 PMM function and something about 
PMM I got confused of when I learned it. I'm not sure wether it is 
correct or not so I need you guys' help.
    PMM function is not a pre-programmed function(or ROM function) of 
TPU3, not like the 16 standard ROM functions, right? It means the 
microcode of PMM function is not loaded into the ROM, it must be run in
the TPU emulation mode, right? So, the function mask needs to be 
installed into the TPU and the microcode of PMM function needs to be 
loaded into the emulation RAM, right? What is this microcode? Is it a 
Hex code,asm code or anything else? DO I need to write the microcode of 
PMM myself or it is a standard function libarary which can be 
downloaded from freescale site? It seems complicated to me to run PMM.
