building an interface is only half of the solution. you also need a driver package that supports it. as far as I know there are no free software drivers for the MPC500 BDM protocol. your cheapest solutions are: P&E Microcomputer (http://www.pemicro.com <http://www.pemicro.com> ) PE supplies low cost BDM interfaces, C source level debuggers, and flash programming software. Macraigor Systems (http://www.macraigor.com <http://www.macraigor.com> ) Macraigor supplies low cast BDM interfaces that work with the GNU GDB. They also have flash programming tools.
