other than point you to tools, you're on your own hacking a Bosch module. The P&E flash programmer can save an srecord and convert it to another format, assuming the flash is not protected. All of the MPC500 devices have a security feature that locks out access to the internal flash if the security feature is enabled by the module manufacturer. If the security is enabled, then there is no way to access the internal flash either to read it or reprogram it. The MPC56x devices have a mechanism that the module supplier can allow the security to be over-ridden, but only by erasing the internal flash. You may be completely on your own with the serial EEPROM. I don't think most tools support SPI based memories. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] My needed is to read & write from Bosch Ecus with MPCxxx... Do you think it will be easy to read trough BDM port with PE-micro USB-BDM tool??? What i would is a simply way for exctract external Flash file Micro flash file and external Serial eprom file. Do you think that tool has simply usage also for a not experte of programming language guy??? do PE-micro tool convert *.S19 file in normal *.bin like readed with normal eprom reader (all11 hilo system)???
