You need a BDM wiggler that connects the PC parallel port or USB to the 555's debug port. You can get these from several sources i.e. Macgraigor and P&E. To use this, you'd also require debug software tools available from a number of vendors including Codewarrior, Windriver, Greenhills, etc. An alternative is to use a ROM monitor which would run from an external memory and typically allow you to debug through the serial port. Such a monitor is provided with the Axiom dev. boards. There are similar mails in the archives on this topic.
