The only difference between the MPC565 and the MPC566 is that the MPC566
supports running compressed code. It you are not using compression, then
the 2 devices are exactly the same. If you are using compression, then
you must use the MPC566.

Subject: [MPC500] Suggestion on MPC566 and MPC565

Hi,

I have written codes for MPC566 and it is running
successfully. The code includes interrupt, SCI and QSMCM modules..

For some reason, I have to replace the MPC566 chip with MPC565 and I
am little worried whether the same code will run on MPC565 or not.

Can anyone please help me on this issue?

-regards
Rajesh
