GHS MULTI Scripting

Hello All,
Can anyone help me in GHS MULTI scripting? I am trying
to debug my code through MULTI scripts. But I am
finding difficulty in simple if...else loops.
It is not working as it should work and after doing
some research I found that whenever I am trying to put
a variable in an if...else condition, it is assigned a
value of 0. 

Can anyone give me a sample script or help me in any
other ways?
