hardware compatibility

Hi, I am new to openbrick. I am about to buy a lexar 256MB compact flash card along with a D-Link DWL 650 PCMCIA wireless adapter for the OpenBrick device. I wanted to know if I am making the right decision and not buying something that is incompatible with OpenBrick. I would appreciate any suggestions about similar devices that could be used instead of the ones that I have mentioned. I also wanted to know if any of you know about any webcams that could be connected to OpenBrick. Thanks in advance.
