I tried a new time to install Mandrake on the hard disk with an USB DVD and a bootable CF.

I patched the OB and the actual BIOS is 2.0L

The installation work well since writing the "programme d'amorçage" (Master Boot Record ?) on the disk. The message I obtain is ":part_nowrite: read:: input/output error:".

I allready installed the same distribution on the same disk on an other computer today, but putting it on the OB, I obtained the error "kernel panic: no init file" and I didn't found the reason or a patch for that (changing /etc/fstab, etc/lilo.conf wasn't enough).

What can I do now ? I have all tried, I do nothing else to do...

Help me before I burn it, please.
