Hi, I would like everyone to know how to do hi resolution in OpenBrick VGA I will make a short explanation here before I write a full doc 1- make sure jumper JP4 on the main board is closed (sorry...). This allows the video chipset to use shared memory instead of built in memory at the expense of refresh frequency. This is just fine for most applications. 2- make sure in the BIOS that the option "PCI first" is selected and that the shared ram is set to 4 MB 3- use the vesa driver to test first the XFRee config. I could get 1280x1024 easily Regarding Free Software hi performance driver for OpenBrick, read next email.
