I need to use a disc but the smaller and cheaper the better. Debian runs 64 mb for a base (console-only) install, a few more mb for a useful server, and probably 128 to 300 mb for an install with X. I have a very capable debian server running in on my openbrick in a 32 mb compact flash, uncompressed, which is not all that hard to accomplish. -- see shy jo
