actually you need sligtly more than 5.0 volt, say 5.1, but it needn't be
stabilized, as the openbrick has that built in.  5.1-7.0 volts works

if you use a plain stabilized 5.0 computer power supply, you'll notice
that the power fails if e.g. you access a harddisk.
