SPI Read or Write with exernal clock

Frinds I am using RCM5600W rabbit board.With inbuilt SPI programs and forum help i could able to read and write data with internal clock in SPI mode. But i am not able to do the same thing with external clock.I am enabling external clock serial mode with by wrting in SxCR registers. Kindly help. Regards ANAND
