ARP Traffic

I've noticed something odd about Ethernet traffic from the Rabbit modules I'm using and am looking for help in understanding it. The Rabbit (RCM3900) is not connected to any other device on the network, but is continually sending ARP broadcast packets. Wireshark displays the following in the "Info" column: "Who has 10.250.7.84? Tell 10.250.7.143" The Rabbit is at 10.250.7.143. And 10.250.7.84 is another non-Rabbit device on the network that the Rabbit is not communicating with. This packet is sent by the Rabbit every 210ms. The device at 10.250.7.84 is sending Broadcast UDP datagrams, at a rate of twice a second. Could that be causing the Rabbit to act the way it is? Steve
