Rabbit RCM4310 UDP issues

A coworker is having some issues with UDP and asked I post this question.... 




When the Rabbit RCM4310 using DC10.72 is asked to send messages which require resolving multiple IP addresses for missing hosts, it will send the message to the broadcast address 255.255.255.255. Is there any way to stop or modify this behavior?
