ReplayTV MPEG files

Has anyone looked at playing MPEG files from a ReplayTV using CinemaSix?  If I
try to play the raw .mpg (PS) file, the Roku generally just gives me a black
screen or occasionally some garbage video.  In most cases after trying to play
the .mpg, the Roku will no longer play ANY video until it is rebooted.

On the other hand, I can get these files to play on the Roku if I first pass
them through VLC to convert to a TS.  In fact, I can stream off of the
ReplayTV, through DVArchive, then through VLC to CinemaSix, so with the 2 other
programs in the loop I can stream video from the ReplayTV (indirectly) to the
Roku.  

If CinemaSix could handle the PS directly, to get VLC out of the loop, then the
Roku would have some promise as a ReplayTV client.
