RE: Updated version of MusicJukebox (v1.0.2) released

Is there anybody awake out there that can help me telnet?????? Once I telnet
with my roku ip address is asks for a login and password.  I thought I had
read that the login was root and we didn't need a password but it won't let
me get past the password point without losing connection.  Help!

Good point about the non-programmers out there.

Here are more details:

1) telnet to the HD1000's IP address (eg. 10.10.10.2)...  Replace 10.10.10.2

with the IP address found on the top of the screen in the HD1000's Setup 
screen.

telnet 10.10.10.2

2) place a Compact Flash card into the HD1000

3) mount the CF card so that we can write to it

mount /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 /mnt/flash1 -o remount,rw,sync

4) create a 64Mb file on the CF card

dd if=/dev/zero of=/mnt/flash1/sdk.swapfile bs=1024 count=65536

5) make that file a swap file

mkswap /mnt/flash1/sdk.swapfile

6) turn on the swapfile

swapon /mnt/flash1/sdk.swapfile


Next time you reboot the HD1000, you need to do the following steps: 1, 2, 
3, 6
