Re: how to use HD1000 play the media files by NFS?

I believe the HD1000 uses WINS (netbios) for network discovery.  For a 
Linux/NFS server you can just put an entry in the /etc/hosts file for 
your server if you want to access it by name.  You'll need to do your 
mounts and mount messages from the command line but these can be added 
to a file like rc.local to happen automatically at boot.  The GUI won't 
find NFS shares on its' own.
