Using Art Paks

When I build an art pack and place it in a network share on a PC the HD1K does 
not appear to see it when I open the share in the menu.  It seems I need to 
reboot the RHD1K.  Is this correct or is there a more reasonmable way to force 
the HD1K to recognize new stored art packs.  Once I reboot they are fine
