hi I am galde to read this in newslist roku-tech. I have readed how Hacking the Roku HD1000 in the site http://home.planet.nl/~jpsaman/, but I have some trouble when I started Step 1: Cross-compiler Step 7: Cross-development environment at step 1, I got two file "rokutools-20020423-1.i386.rpm and rokutools-mipsel-20020423-1.i386.rpm" aftre I used RPM --rebuild. I want to know How I use the two files at step7. and at step 7, I would work in telnet ROKU consol , or in my PC linux consol ? there is a "tart -xvf /mnt/flash/roku.tar", whether I would extract roku.tar in CF card (/mnt/flash1/ )? and in the site there is two link # roku-mount-sdk.sh - Mount the SDK environment in your cross-development tree. # roku-umount-sdk.sh - Unmount the SDK environment from your cross-development tree. in which they are a same file "roku-mount-sdk.sh". thanks young [email protected]
