Hi Barry, I believe that's a symbolic link (in Windowseese we call it a shortcut) althought symlinks seem to be quite a bit more flexable. I'm also a Linux beginner so I could be all wrong on this. If so I'm sure we'll hear from the Linux guru's shortly. Bart P.S.
