Sounds like you need to tell the HD1000 to rescan the share that contains the
app.  Highlight the share's icon (on the left) and press [select], this will
cause the HD1000 to rescan the share*
 
 
 
*If you have turned on the directory chooser in the general setup panel,
pressing [select] on a media source will result in the directory browser dialog
being displayed.  In this case, just select "choose" and the directory will be
rescanned.

I downloaded and unzipped WeatherSix. I put it in a shared directory under My
Documents in Windows XP.
I can see the folder while browsing the network on the HD1000, but I cannot see
the app on the HD1000. How do I install the 3rd party app on my PC shared drive
to have HD1000 see and execute it?
