Then how about you smart guys at Roku add some memory to that beast? Solder down some bigger chips and recompile the kernel. We all know it wouldn't be hard - then just cut that process into the manufacturing floor. Those of us that have the old version could then sell ours on ebay and buy a new one with more RAM :) Seriously, I know it's not *quite* that simple, but it can't be that hard and from what I gather, lack of RAM is responsible for a large number of headaches I keep seeing people complain about. We don't support progressive decoding because it requires MUCH more memory than regular. So much that we simply don't have enough... Best, --Mike
