Wireless connection not initialized on reset

I have an HD1000 and am using a D-Link DWL-122 USB Wireless adapter. When resetting the HD1000, it doesn't connect to the network. I need to go to setup, wireless, and select "Done" to make the connection. Is there any way to make the connection automatic?
