That type of network control is on our "Really want to have" list, but is
not in 1.0.

You can do that sort of thing if you're using the Slim client, but you lose
some other features like the visualization and the bitmapped UI (large
fonts, etc).

I believe there will be a list of supported WiFi cards once we've had a
chance to test & qualify.
