You are correct.  The iTunes application and the SlimClient app are
completely separate.

DAAP does not provide the kind of control you want to implement.  It will be
via a Roku-designed interface, most likely.

I don't know when it'll be implemented.  We're still focused on delivering a
great 1.0 product, so ...

What I can tell you is that I plan to have a MINIMUM of four SoundBridges in
my home, and I would like very much to be able to do exactly what you're
asking for.
