Hey Sujal, This is very exciting! I'm still seeing lip sync issues with every DVD I tried, both for Stereo Downmix and Direct Digital Output. Hitting the rotate key didn't seem to matter. (8 Mile, Akira, Clerks, Indiana Jones ROTLA). Transport streams from an pcHDTV looked great, no lip syncing issues (Direct Digital Output). It might be nice if hitting "next track" button from the menu's tool one to chapter 1 instead of chapter 2. The only way i can figure to get to chapter 1 is to wait for the menu's to stop looping. Not sure if this is feasible. Otherwise chapter navigation seems to work fine. One final thought. Until the file size limitations are overcome in the Roku itself, the only way to play large files is via VLC and http streaming. I've had good luck getting this to work with CinemaSix, however, entering the URL is a tad painful. Might be nice to have 1) have the "play recent URLs" items re-sort themselves if one uses them over and over and/or 2) since the URLs don't really change frequently have a separate "play recent URLs", or "URL bookmarks". Hope this feedback is valuable. Keep the releases coming. :) Thanks, Taylor On Jul 7, 2004, at 6:14 AM, Sujal Patel wrote: > > I've put 1.2 beta up, but with no public links to it (it's a developer > preview only): > > http://www.up.org/cinemasix/CinemaSix1.2beta.zip > > > I'll release 1.3 by end of week (skipping 1.2 for the world at > large)... > > Sorry to be beating you guys to death with releases, but it's worth it. > > This release of CinemaSix is dramatically better at DVD lipsync, fixes > VOB > to VOB transition, includes automatic title selection and chapter > navigation.
