I have one of these: http://www.yamahamultimedia.com/yec/products/cavit/rpu100.asp I pickup one about a year ago from buy.com really cheap. It's a pretty decent amp with digital input and output. It also works as a USB sound card but you don't need a PC to use it's regular receiver features. There are other models in the "Cavit" line that may be suitable also. These aren't being made anymore but you maybe able to find one on ebay or other online sellers. Secondly, since we're talking Soundbridge... I'm planning on putting mine in the living room on a bookshelf. I really don't want to have a full on amp there and I have some cool non-powered speakers coming. Can anyone recommend a small "book sized" amp that I could stick on a corner shelf out of the way? Thanks!!
