Hi Reynolds,
One quick question that I didn't see answered. What version of HD1000 software
are you running?

//Subject: [Roku-tech] Unresolved HD1k issues: aquarium+mp3
//
//
//Hi. I have never been able to get the aquarium and sound to
//both work
//simultaneously (my reason for purchasing the product). I
//have added 128MB
//SWAP via COMPACTFLASH drive, per specification on the ROKU
//website.  My roku
//is connected to a WinXP pro server (2.0GHz, 2GB RAM) via
//100MBPS cat5e
//ethernet. The LongAquarium is hosted on the same disk &
//partition as the
//MP3 files. There is only 1 network share. The network share has 6
//subdirectories. The subdirectories have between 50-800 files each.
//
//Why can't the unit play the aquarium and music simultaneously
//without having
//hiccups every other second? What can I do to remedy this?
//The company's
//focus on producing the Soundbridge has left this issue
//unaddressed for 3
//months. Any assistance you can offer will be appreciated.
